We collect only information necessary to provide copy-trading services, including:

• Account information: email, username, and other details you provide when registering.
• Login credentials: your CopyApes login token to identify your account and maintain your session.
• Exchange/signal-source session data: cookies, login credentials stored in page local storage (such as JWT / refresh tokens), and related request headers read from authorized OKX, Binance, Fomo, and similar pages when you initiate capture, for cookie/credential sync.
• Trader identifiers: trader IDs extracted from related API request URLs when you browse Fomo and similar trader profile pages and use extension features, for on-page display, copying, and creating copy-trading tasks.
• API information: exchange API keys you bind (we recommend trade-only permissions with IP whitelisting).
• Extension local data: language, theme, cookie capture status, and panel visibility preferences stored locally in your browser.
• Usage and log data: operation records and error logs to keep the service secure and reliable.

3. How We Use Information

We use collected information only to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve copy-trading features.
• Sync exchange/signal-source login state and perform cookie/credential capture, trader ID recognition, and copy tasks you initiate.
• Verify identity and protect account and trading security.
• Send service-related notices when necessary.
• Comply with applicable laws and regulations.

4. Browser Extension Data Handling

The CopyApes Assistant Chrome extension handles data as follows. The extension's collection and use of user data complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements:

• Cookie and network request permissions (cookies, webRequest): reads cookies and request headers, or recognizes copy-trading-related API requests, only when you visit authorized sites such as OKX, Binance, and Fomo; we do not collect data on unrelated websites.
• Page local storage reads: on Fomo and similar sites, when you initiate sync, the extension may read login credentials stored in page local storage (such as JWT / refresh tokens) for credential submission; this is not used for advertising or profiling.
• Local storage permission (storage): saves your login token, language, theme, and cookie capture status locally in your browser; this data is not uploaded unless you actively submit cookies/credentials.
• Tab permissions (tabs, activeTab): used to identify the current exchange/signal-source page and inject the operation panel with your authorization.
• The extension does not collect or store your full browsing history, and is not used for advertising or user profiling.

5. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers, data brokers, or any unrelated third parties. We share necessary data only with the following parties:

• CopyApes backend services (api.copyapes.com): receives account information, login tokens, exchange cookies/session credentials (including JWT / refresh tokens), and API keys you actively submit, to provide copy-trading services.
• Alibaba Cloud: as our cloud infrastructure provider, hosts our servers and databases; data is stored in Alibaba Cloud data centers located in Japan.
• Exchanges and signal sources (OKX, Binance, Fomo, etc.): when you initiate copy-trading or cookie/credential sync, we use your cookies, session credentials, or API keys to make requests to the corresponding platform to execute authorized trading or copy-trading operations.
• Other cases with your explicit consent.
• When required by law or valid requests from authorities.
• When necessary to protect the rights and safety of users, us, or the public.

6. Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Alibaba Cloud servers located in Japan. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted storage of sensitive credentials, access controls, and security audits.

• API keys, exchange cookies, session credentials, and other sensitive information are encrypted on our servers.
• Extension preferences are stored locally on your device and can be cleared by uninstalling the extension.
• While your account is active, we retain data necessary to provide our services.
• After logout, your login token is immediately invalidated; after account deletion, we delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, unless otherwise required by law.

You may access, correct, or delete your account information, withdraw consent, or stop using our services.

• Log out of the extension to clear local session data.
